So here's how it happened:
I played an online match against someone, I was Yuuma and they were Chiyari. Because the online barely works the game quit me out of the match after round 1. After that I went into story mode and selected Reimu. Instead of loading in the Reimu vs Aunn match, the game loaded in the second round of the online match. Chiyari behaved normally but Yuuma had Reimu's shot and abilities but all the assets were replaced by Yuuma's. After winning I was given one of Chiyari's cards, and then stage 2 went normally. So yeah good job ZUN (also if this works consistently you could face whoever you want in match 1 to get a desired card or something, pretty huge)
