So I've finally beaten the Lunatic AI. The trick here is letting the enemy assault your initial base, moving your forces and build your new base in your nearest AI ally while trying to get back on foot. The AIs far from your base will be relatively safe (and if you're lucky, they will soften up the enemy AIs there for you). I prefer using Hakurei Jinja in this strategy as Suika can give you unlimited resources provided that you have enough beer which is absolutely important for gathering faith. As a plus, Reimu empowers your barriers, allowing you to shield your allied base from the combine assault of the enemy.

The match was long because I' was tired and spammed blue infantry only. Still, using them let me practice my micro skills a bit. Should have mixed some books and red infantry in order to win.

Hare are some tips:
1/ Do not hesitate to build barriers and wall. If you don't have much faith to spare for real walls, layering up barriers and house-walling.
2/ If you are on the flank, be ready to migrate. It's nearly impossible to out-tech the AI.
3/ If you are in the pocket position. Help your allied AI when possible by building barriers. You will need their combine assault to shield your forces in the early game and win the game itself.
4/ If you are not Hakurei Jinja, find and secure enough resources for Lunatic. You can try harvesting resources near your allies. They won't need those,
5/ Blue infantries shooting behind barriers is a good strategy in the early game. Be sure to have enough magic (mushroom) and beer for them.
