Many people have requested me to play this game. And seeing there is no gameplay of it (yet :v), I've decided to check it out. So, here I am, commentating briefly about some stuff in the game. Tell me what you think about it!

东方鬼神玉 ~ I wanna be the Yin-Yang Orb - is yet another Touhou fangame, this time it is not a conventional bullet-hell shooter. Instead, you are playing sort of "World's Hardest Game" / "IWBTG" type of game.
Which is fancy, although, in my honest opinion, doesn't feel like it's really Touhou other than incredible difficulty and Orb/fairy/music. Not like I'm fussy or something yet somehow... it feels odd.

Although looks great, the Touhou version of "World's Hardest Game" could be somehow better. But for now - pros.
Talking about patterns or difficulty - it is great, I'm really content. Lots of interesting patters, progressive difficulty, maybe a lil' bit OP on Stage 3 but - hey, it's IWBTG type of game :v Aaand, it all sticks.
Had fun beating some of the patterns, and some kept me from progressing for a while. Phew. Not bad I must admit.

But, it's not perfect. Leaving aside previous thought on 2hu relationship... Well...
It's full of bugs.

Really a bunch of bugs, as if developer rushed it all and haven't playtested some parts of it. Minor bug appears at 2-1, where dying means reloading the whole game due to coins respawning bug. It's really minor and shall be fixed easily.
Another one is in 3-2, which has the impossible section unless you exploit yet another bug. Oh the irony...
And probably my favourite coming to the lasers, but I won't spoil it here, you need to see it for youself :V

Gonna be lil' more nitpicky for a moment - if you looked closely to the fairy, which is a boss in all three stages, you'll see what I mean.
Repetitive. Pattern. And inadequate music. (Why Sakuya/Remilia theme for a freakin' fairy? What is that - EoSD hype again?)
Only the environment changes happens. It really hit me hard, why would you want players to perceive the boss and the fight as tedious?
Wouldn't it be better to change somehow this pattern? Really, think about that ._.

All in all, I would like to think about IWBTYYO as a good game, but uhh... unless bugs are fixed, and boss gets more interesting and less misleading, then maybe it's gonna hold true. For now, I'm just gonna stay on the middle grounds and say: it's something you have to deduct by yourself.
If my play convinced you to play it as well - go for it. If not - then answer is obvious. Decision is totally yours this time~
