I've defeated Ran Yakumo with Reimu, Sakuya and Marisa not too long ago. I wanted to upload my Marisa replay since it was my first time beating Ran while using her (she is my favourite protag too!). Despite using quite a number of bombs, i'm not a highly skilled Touhou player, so don't expect a perfect run from me. Regardless. I took the chance to save this replay because i don't think i'll ever become this fortunate again... unless if i practice a lot XD
Thanks to other replays here on youtube for helping me out and giving me strategic ideas!
If you need any help with this particular stage, then i'll be happy enough to lend you some advice.C:

Ran Yakumo is a pretty easy extra boss compared to others. Due to the fact she'll give you a 1up and then a few bombs whenever you get past her spell card. I think when absorbing plenty of cherry points, a supernatural border will occur around the player's sprite. You can use this to your advantage by doing a "cherry bomb" which all the bullets will dissipate (there might be penalties based on your score for doing that.. I dunno).
