Big thanks to Ultimate Pan Scroll Zoom asset on Unity. It is not my asset, but I highly recommend it as it was free and solved my problem of making a touch panning feature for my game. Now my game can pan with touch controls like a regular tower defense game. The asset can be found on the Unity Asset store under Ultimate Pan Scroll Zoom
