This mod is a bit of a spiritual successor to Jdaster's previous mod, The Infinite Pit. Tower of Trials takes those mechanics, turns them up to eleven and embraces a more classic roguelike structure!
There are too many changes to list. There are new and reworked badges & items, reworked Star Powers, NEW & reworked partner moves, NEW enemies, MINIBOSSES, status changes, achievements, new skins, new FX badges, a hub with fun and new dialogue, THE LIST GOES ON!
The main idea of this run is just uh... Chaos?
I'll be playing with obfuscated items. This makes it so all item and badge icons, names AND descriptions are completely shuffled. You can't tell what anything is. But at least it's consistent?
I'm also gonna turn on more rules that tend to cause chaos. High stage hazard probability comes to mind...

I don't like doing "birthday" streams. I feel like it makes people feel obligated to donate money as a birthday present. So I came up with the brilliant idea to make it all about charity! Anything you wanna give will go to a good cause instead!
My charity of choice is ALS research. You might remember it from the "Ice Bucket Challenge". ALS is a type of motor neuron disease. It causes the muscles to weaken, start to twitch, and waste away. Eventually, the brain loses its ability to initiate and control voluntary movements. There is no cure or proper treatment.
Someone close to me has been affected by this disease, so I want to do my part. For them and anyone else suffering from it.
