There is a difference in bonuses applied if you use track sleep vs manual data!
Do NOT add manual data TWICE in a day (this is true in general, not just during event).
Tracking sleep twice in a day works! Both times will get a bonus.
Adding manual data ONCE is OK! You can still get your bonus to track sleep on second session. But you don't get a drowsy power bonus for your manual session as there are no Pokemon sleep styles to research.
