Here's a bunch of various ways that Gen 3 offers trading. As well as several ways to connect your Pokemon Games via emulator.

I'm using VisualBoyAdvance-M 2.1.11

The funny thing is that it's entirely possible I haven't even fully gotten into the fullest depths of obtaining Gen 3 Pokemon via emulator. The Pomeg Berry glitch immediately comes to mind if you want to get Mew, and I hear the Japanese version of Colosseum's Bonus disc contains Celebi instead.
