Surprise, surprise! It's been a LONG while since I've uploaded anything voice acting related, more or less anything on the channel. Lots have happened since then, I went through the entirety of my college life, I changed my username from ShadowPuppyVA to Espy, I really began to heavily shift my focus on drawing and improving in art, and I've starting working a full time job. I've learned a lot throughout the years, and my perspective on a lot of ideas and how I approach my work have greatly shifted. However, I've really come to appreciate the fandubs I put out when I was in my teens. Looking back, I can see them as stepping stones to get to where I currently am. There are videos that I do find better than others, and that brings me to the reason why I want to upload a new fandub in the year 2024.

Back in 2014, Hairo, formerly SeiroSCC, and I dubbed all 9 afterword mangas of Kohta Hirano's Hellsing "Luke and Jan's Merry Manga" and called it "[MANGA DUB] Brudders (Hellsing Fandub)". We both consider it our favorite fandub ever, and we were always curious about doing a fandub of the afterword manga of his other work, Drifters. We fancied the idea, here and there, but college, a shift in focus, and life got in the way, so we ended up putting it on the wayside. 9 years later, both of our schedules lined up, and we figured that it would be nice to celebrate "Brudder"'s 10 year anniversary by finally getting around to dubbing all of the afterword content there currently is in Drifters (Considering that the creator takes a long time inbetween each Tankobon release, it's going to be a LONG time before the next volume will be released).

Does this mean I'm gonna make a return to Fandubs full time? I'd love to be able to voice act and keep a consistent schedule, but I'd also love to get paid, professionally if that's an option. I'd also love to prioritize my art career, so if I had to choose between uploading voice acting videos consistently or spend more time on illustration/animation, I would choose the latter. I can't promise any consistent uploads from here on out after the release of this video, but I'd love to drop any projects that I think of here and there. And of course, if there's any friends that I've interacted with consistently from back in the day that want to get me to voice act small fandubs or comic dubs or any project, I'm totally willing to do it. if you're wondering if you are one of them, just ask.
