At the Inn, they suspected it might have been the 3 crooks that tried to harass Kloe and Estelle, Clem saw an opportunity to take revenge on the crooks, so Estelle, Joshua and Kloe run to the rescue, though bad timing caused the drawbridge to open so they had to go by boat.
Confronting the group of crooks, which are named "The Ravens" Kloe finally decided to take manners into her own hands, drawing out her fencing epee.
I did suspect Kloe was going to be a party member given she had "Tear" abilities and you get those from Orbments. But looking her closely she has an insane amount of orbment skills.
