Musse's lustful gaze tho

Merry Christmas everyone! I have decided to bring you a special video after finding too much free time in my schedule.

I was honestly surprised NIS America introduced a Nintendo Switch port of the game first, rather than a PC version. Guess they were reeling from the Ys VIII PC Port debacle.

There are a bunch of things I have to discuss regarding this video:

Elliot has contacted Rean with his ARCUS II via something similar to Apple's FaceTime. I'm sure many of you have used similar apps on other platforms, but I'd like to bring this up because at the beginning of the decade, the concept of face to face video calling was popularized by the iPhone 4.

Let me tell you: I suck at strategy games. The reason I was able to defeat the first boss in Sakura Wars (1996) is because that battle was MADE to be easy. Also, I almost got a Game Over in Einhel Keep Lvl 1.

A bunch of free DLC landed for the game, so I changed Rean into his Unspeakable Costume, and he look cool af y'all. Also, I changed Altina to the Faculty Swimsuit, but when I get a chance to have Juna in my party, I'll change her into another costume.

The Eastern import shop Nyo-Sui-An has their store sign written in kanji (如水庵). However, NIS America used the Japanese romanization, while in South Korea and Chinese-speaking territories, transliteration was done instead. In the Korean version, Nyo-Sui-An is called Yeo-Su-Am (여수암), while in Chinese-speaking territories, it's called Ju-Shui-An (if using Wade-Giles romanization). Since I'm Vietnamese, I can also call it Như Thuỷ Am.

That black market in Leeves definitely looks like the Pacific Mall in the Greater Toronto Area. When I was young, my mom's friend bought a Famiclone (those Chinese Nintendo-On-A-Chip consoles) that resembled a Nintendo 64 controller. It was pretty crappy honestly, but hey, it had a Famicom cartridge slot. I don't have it anymore unfortunately. They also sold counterfeit DVDs of popular movies around the world, including the Korean drama "My Strange Hero". If I bought those DVDs, I would be detained at Buffalo, New York.

And don't forget that although Aniplex sells their Your Lie in April Blu-rays on Right Stuf Anime (at least in the US and Canada), Amazon sells the Malaysian/Singaporean versions on the US website.

Jingo is also a customs broker. And did I mention I imported a bunch of stuff from Japan this year, including Project Sakura Wars?

The delivery service that Rean was helping out for is similar to the only three courier services typically operating independent of postal services I can think of: DHL, UPS, and FedEx. All three services have their own airlines or send their parcels onto other smaller cargo airlines. In Japanese time, it took me TWO DAYS to get Project Sakura Wars, because my copy went the following route: Osaka → Hong Kong → Cincinnati → Philadelphia. Only one calendar day passed though thanks to the International Date Line.

A week ago, I FINALLY got a UPS package on time, which shows how bad the company is. They even stole my 32 GB microSD card I ordered from Amazon.

That's probably the last video of the year (and to a further extent, the decade) for sure.

Happy New Year, and Happy New Decade.
