With TSW2 comes the Scenario Planner and the Off The Rails concept where, size permitting, you can create any variant of route and train that that you currently own and create your own scenario.

Here on my first go I am running the Class 66 in EWS livery fully loaded (The DB red livery Class 66 isn't available until GWE comes to preserved collection) on the Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr route between Duisburg and Bochem. Look out for the ICE3M AI service picking up passengers at Essen!

Good fun and a lot of people will get creative with this.
