The time trial section of the Stock Gauntlet will come at the end of the Gauntlet. You'll have 40 seconds to shoot 22 targets and you must finish with at least 15 seconds left on the clock. This isn't too difficult, but it may take a couple tries to get the layout of course down.
I would recommend starting with the Battle Blaster as it has a bigger magazine. Shoot single shots to conserve ammo. When you get low on ammo, switch to your hand cannon. By the time the hand cannon runs out of ammo, the battle blaster will have been reloaded, so quickly switch back to that. Make sure to use your dash ability to get through a little more faster as well.
You can retry this as many times as you need.
