I Rewire a Valve Guitar Amplifier. I bought this tube amp from a guy who had been working at it on and off for years. It works fine at lower volumes, but breaks up if the volume is turned up. I decided to draw out a schematic of what's actually in the amp, to compare to the provided schematic. I'm going to begin be re-wiring the amp, to check for obvious errors, remove clutter, and make room to work and take measurements later, if necessary.
Maybe it won't be. The problem could be simply caused by bad lead dress
