Trying To Roll With The Punches - F1 Manager 23 Hardcore [Alpha Tauri]: S2/R18 - Lusail
12Welcome to Season 2 of Hardcore Mode, a series running on the hardest settings with additional rule restrictions imposed on us as well. There are two aims for this series; to become the dominant Bulls team, and as a secondary objective, to make Oscar Piastri a drivers championship winner.
As for those additional rules, they are as follows:
[1]. Contracts (main drivers and staff) can only be broken with 1 year remaining. This does not apply to the Reserve Driver position.
[2]. Speaking of drivers, we cannot sign a driver over the age of 26. This only applies to initial contracts - renewing an existing driver older than 26 is fine.
[3]. We cannot sign a driver rated higher than 85 overall. Again, this only applies to initial contracts and does not affect renewals.
[4]. We cannot poach staff from Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull until 2025 at the earliest - we must also be a top 5 team. This ensures we don't shortcut our way to the top via development or sabotaging the top teams.
These rules may be tweaked at the end of each season with an eye on keeping the series challenging. We will not be making things easier with any changes
