Turok 3 was remastered and released on Steam in November 2023. The original Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion (2000) for the Nintendo 64 is a respectable successor to the legacy of Turok 2. The creature and environment models were much improved in quality, while somehow keeping decent frame rates. Realistic cinematic characters with motion-captured face animations were the biggest technical achievement. The new weapons are nice but more grounded in reality than previous titles. Although this game was underrated at the time of its original release, the remaster fixes many issues and adds many enhancements. Now enjoy this classic gameplay in 4K resolution!
