Tutorial: How to use your GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U on the vWii
Despite the GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U being made, Nintendo somehow did not implement support for the GameCube to be used on the vWii mode on the Wii U. Fortunately, thanks to the power of Chadderz, it is now possible to use GameCube Controllers on Wii games in the Wii U's vWii mode. However, there are a few things:
-Not all games are supported or work perfectly as of the moment, updates are planned.
-Known games that work with it are Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (although PAL version has issues)
You will need:
-A Wii U or Wii (yes, this works on the Wii as well)
-A working original USB GameCube Adapter (the only third-party adapter that is known to work is Mayflash, other ones don't work for some reason)
-An SD Card or a USB (preferably an SD Card)
-The Homebrew Channel (if you don't know how to install it, then there are guides on YouTube on how to do so)
-Any game that supports the use of GameCube Controllers
Two methods to do this are via CTGP Revolution (for Mario Kart Wii only) and/or Brainslug. For CTGP Revolution, it's quite simple, just plug the adapter into the USB ports, and then load CTGP as usual. If it doesn't work, then it likely means that your adapter isn't supported. For Brainslug, download the module linked below, extract the files to your SD Card, then load the Homebrew channel (make sure your adapter is plugged in), then load the Brainslug app. Then, the game will launch, and then you will be able to use your controllers.

Questions and Answers:
Q: Does this work on an actual Wii?
A: Yes, this will also work on an actual Wii, especially if your Wii's GCN ports are not working, or if you have the newer Wii that discontinued GCN backward compatibility.
Q: Why is it not working?
A: Either your game is not supported at the moment, or your adapter does not work.
Q: Can I use this on USB Loader GX, Wiiflow and/or Riivolution?
A: Unfortunately, they do not support the use of Brainslug modules, so for now, there is no way that they work on these apps. However, a tool is currently being developed to load Riivolution .xml files via Brainslug, which will also allow the use of Brainslug modules like the one shown in the video.
