Twisted Metal: Black Walkthrough 05 - Dollface's Darkside
0One of my favorite vehicles in the game, Darkside is a pretty powerful boi. Uh... I-I mean, girl. No, the driver isn't Mr. Ash this time... but she becomes a mainstay character to the series now. For the vehicle itself, Darkside is slow but has a really great Armor stat. Her Special goes at blitz speed, ramming into anyone in her way. If you ram into someone while sliding horizontally, you get the oh-so satisfying T-Slide Bonus. You also get a damage reduction bonus by using it too, but if you're on a battleground where falling off is an instant death, it's actually riskier to use Darkside since it is very easy to drop down unless you know the map and control her speed well enough. To do it in reverse, just rear fire the Special.
Given her face, she is known as Dollface. Going from an innocent woman before into an unstable nutjob now, how did she turn into this? Is she really a bad girl after what has happened? Is she gonna end up paying for ever and ever and ever? And who is this Mr. Kreel? We'll find out in this story playthrough...
An accidental death at Skyscrapers because me being not so good at this game decided that fighting close to the ledge was a good idea. The result? Not so great. It was bound to happen. This game isn't easy like I said, it has a pretty steep learning curve. And I'm barely scraping the surface here. Death at Warhawk, but great finish. I killed him first before he killed me, so it's a fantastic end. I tried doing the shield input, but my controller has squishy buttons which doesn't help. I need to get a new controller...
Since I unlocked YellowJacket, Axel, and WartHog, I unlock ManSlaughter in Prison Passage, who is the last character we can get for now in Story mode. After this, it'll be time to unlock some battlegrounds for challenge and split-screen modes!
