Ubuntu Mate Linux Distro Of The Year
48Let's face it, many choices for choosing any distribution and sometimes it comes down to simply personal taste. Sometimes you choose what works best with your specific hardware. I've called Ubuntu Mate the Linux gold standard at least for beginners. So,
I chose this based on my tests on multiple machines and my past discussion with the maker of this, Martin Wimpress. Keep in mind the current stable version is 17.04, I tested the new 17.10 Alpha 2 in a test machine. Ultimately, Ubuntu Mate presents a simple, comfortable out of the box experience.
