UNBOXING UNO, UNO FLIP, & UNO DOS - UNO Playing Card Unboxing
Each symbol on the UNO card has its own function and it is very important to understand how to play UNO. The following is an explanation of the symbols on the UNO card:
1. Number cards
Number cards have 4 colors, namely red, yellow, green, and blue. Each card bears 1 number from 0 to 9. The numbers 1 to 9 have 2 cards of each color. Meanwhile, the number 0 only amounts to 1 card of each color. So, the total for each color is 19. So there are 19 red, 19 yellow, 19 blue, and 19 green.
2. Card +2
The +2 card is used when the color of the top card is the same color as the +2 card you have, or both are +2 cards. The next player who is hit by this card and does not have a +2 card when the previous player issued a +2 card, must take 2 cards, and does not get a chance to play.
3. Card reverse or reverse
Reverse cards can be issued according to the color of the previous card, or they can also be issued when there are other reverse cards. This card serves to change the direction of the game, for example before we played clockwise. With a reverse card, the game rotation must change in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, if there are only two players, then this card turns into a skip card, meaning you can play again after removing this card.
4. Skip card
To issue a skip card, you also need to adjust the color or symbol on the previous card. The function of this card is to stop the next player according to the number of skip cards issued. If this card comes out at the start of the game then the first player to the left of the shuffler may not play, proceed directly to the second player.
5. Card +4
The +4 card should only be used when you have no other cards in your hand that can be played. The meaning of this card is almost the same as +2, but this time you have to take 4 cards. Apart from that, you are also allowed to choose the color that will be played next if you issue this card. This card is invalid at the start of the game, so if at first this card appears, please put it back in the deck and replace it with another card.
6. Wild card
This card can be issued at any time, and in any color. Its function is only to replace or choose a color. This is usually used when a player has no color on the top of the discard card. If this card appears at the start of play, the player to the left of the shuffler in the first player can freely choose which color he or she wants to play, then discards his or her first card.
7. Blank cards
This card can be used as a replacement for a lost card. If the 7 yellow card is lost, you can replace it with this blank card. It can also be used as another card with the rules that you make yourself. For example, as a lucky card that can be used at will when you are about to lose, or as a mirror card that duplicates the previous card.
