Uncompetative loves Game Development (behind the scenes of my real life)
2This started out as a helpful video response to KingThrash Gaming's video that recounted his first day experience with the XBOX SERIES X. He was having issues with the controller not having batteries, etc. Similar problems that I had encountered whilst owning XBOX and I had found my own solutions, which I thought I would be able to share with him to minimise his pain. I was also going to say how I managed to get three years of XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE for $0.00 without giving Microsoft my credit card details, as I thought that would maybe be of use to him, and he could do something similar and be able to try out the new Halo: Infinite, Forza Motorsport, Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Fable and Perfect Dark games when they eventually get released as they are unlikely to be delayed past 2024 when the free GAME PASS would run out. Anyway, I realised that I couldn't just SHARE my XBOX screen and record my audio with the controller's microphone like I find so convenient with my PS5 as Microsoft don't let you stream directly to YouTube, and they have shut down MIXER. I think there is a way to stream to Twitch still, which you can then download to YouTube, but it is awkward. FatalMephisto would know more about that workaround, some XBOX gamers like Project Storm use an Elgato capture card in their PC to capture their XBOX SERIES X's gameplay, so in making my video response I decided to use my iPad Pro and upload the final recorded video. I then got distracted from my purpose with a room tour, and an explanation of what I am doing with my hobby project to make a Live Programming language that I hope to be able to use to make the tools I will then use to make the ambitious Elite / Mercenary style space combat and open world city adventure game I have always wanted to make. This would have been one continuous take, but I tapped the OFF button on my iPad whilst turning it around to film my TV. Whoops! Another video that is just on the subject I originally intended to make will follow this one. So, take this as a preview / ramble.
