Hello everyone, Wannabe Reviewer here to review 1917, starring George MacKay, Dean-Charles Champman, Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, Colin Firth, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Directed by Sam Mendes, the film follows two young British soldiers during World War I who are tasked with delivering a message calling off an attack doomed to fail, soon after the German retreat to the Hindenburg Line during Operation Alberich in 1917.
