Cities: Skylines was the hero that PC gamers needed after the natural disaster that was SimCity 2012. Coming from the fine folks that brought us the Cities in Motion series, Cities: Skylines brought a sense of realism and massive scale to the city building game that hadn't been seen since SimCity 4 a decade prior. With a massive backlog of Cities Skyline Mods, there are unlimited ways to play this game and make any number of variations, as well as DLC like Cities Skylines Natural Disasters and Cities Skylines Mass Transit. However you will only find some of that stuff here as I am playing with no mods and only the Cities Skylines After Dark and Mass Transit DLC installed. Well, that and like the free park they gave us at start, and some other minor asset pack. But you know what I mean.
Vanilla Hills will be a city built on the concept of efficiency and natural harmony. While I will probably end up with a good number of grids, I will also try to follow the natural contours of the land and make for an interesting overall layout. I'll try to use roundabouts where I can for major interchanges, and do my best to minimize highways and instead focus on efficienct mass transit and good planning. Of course not everything will be perfect but we'll do our best. I'll also be naming streets and districts after viewers who leave comments on the series, so be sure to leave a comment and I will try to get your name into the game!
