In This episode, I go over some possible taming routes for the purist and for hard chargers who want to get the taming grind over with.

Remember you want to stay in the green portion of the chart for the most efficient gains.

In a nutshell, tame the following if you are a purest:
50-60 hinds, horses, llamas, timber wolves
60-75 polar bears and walruses
75-85 Snow Leopards and Panthers
85-90 White wolves, great harts, and bulls

For the efficient and quickest method:
50-60 Spawning stable horses
*Jewelry to about 95 taming skill and do Jhelom Bulls*
If you can't get jewelry stay with horses to 61.5 then continue with walruses and polar bears and so on until you can jewel yourself to about 95 taming. +skill taming jewels can be extremely cheap as they may be paired with a skill that does not sync well with templates.

You can also kill two birds with one stone by raising magery at the same time. Try and keep your success chance around 50% for maximize the gains.

45-55 Use Lightning
55-65 Mind Blast
65-75 Energy Bolt
75+ Flame Strike
(Technically at 90 earthquake gains quicker but that just agros others)

Eval Int and Animal Lore will passively raise. You will likely GM animal lore before you get 85 real taming skill.
