Upgrading Isn't So Easy - Halo 5 Highlight
54For the past month been tinkering with a new microphone called the SM7B. A super amazing microphone but require a lot of power aka gain.
DBX 286s is highly suggested to run this mic but I kept constantly getting bad results from this thing.......wait a minute could it be the audio interface I have? Yep I also bought a new Scarlett 6i6 which didn't solve the issues either.
I didn't put it in the video because it work very well just not with the DBX 286s, while all this was going on Elgato released a new update for the 4k60 Pro which messed up most of my videos and set me weeks from recording.....why?
If I record too long the video capture breaks the audio, frame rate goes bad or the video won't work at all. I lost a lot of great multi kills and even Fortnite solo/duo wins. Been working with Elgato through emails about this problem by sending evidence and replying back and fourth.
Still getting email from Elgato treating it like it's just one off issue that only happening with me.....quite a few people voice their experience and are having the same issue as I am. I kind of gave up with them. I was requested to record for hours on end and send them the result.....multiple times. 3 times was fine but this was getting outta hand. Why can't they do it, I gave them all the issues for them to benchmark for themselves.
