Useful Tips?! Part 2 | Don't Starve Together
544This is another Useful Tips?! video, Just some stuff i find useful or interesting for Don't Starve and Don't Starve Together.
The first and second useful tip works best combined together, So using a spiders nest and a bird cage together, These two items together will give you the power of unlimited eggs. This is because every time you kill a spider for it's monster meat and once the meat is cooked you can finally feed the cooked meat to your bird in the birdcage. Remember the monster meat has to be cooked or else the bird will refuse it. Once the bird eats the meat, It will then drop a single egg for each cooked monster meat you gave the bird.This is good because you can have an endless recycle of eggs, This is possible because when your eggs are starting to spoil, you can just cook the egg and then give it to your bird for a fresh new egg. So this makes a good way to save up for winter or until you feel like whipping up some Pierogies or some bacon and eggs.
The third tip is really good to do reasonably early, So within the first few days it's really beneficial to crack open a sinkhole and once you get down in the cave collect a decent amount of light bulbs and ferns because they will both rot in 6 days, That makes this is a really good way to get the rot needed later when you start to set up your base. This is also a good method if you already have a base set up or would rather have manure for farms. All you have to do is find a pig. Drop the light bulbs and ferns you want to turn into manure close to the pig, Then feed the pig four monster meat, Then he will turn into a Werepig. Once turned into a Werepig he will start to eat all the light bulbs and ferns you left on the ground and he will drop one manure for each item he eats so you will get fat stacks of manure... Hooray!!
Tip number four is good if you really need food over anything else! Once you catch a bird and would rather have it's meat over the feather, Instead of murdering it and having a chance to get meat, Just cook the bird alive over the fire and you will get cooked morsel every time..... EVIL maybe...Who am i to judge, Just go make some meatballs already!
With the fifth tip, I explain that you don't have to be scared to use the boomerangs. Their is a way to make sure you catch it every time, All you have to do is once you have thrown the boomerang and as soon as it hits the target you have thrown it at. Make sure to click or hold the space bar and then you will see your character holding their hand out to catch it, Then you wont take any damage because you caught the boomerang in your hand and not with your face.
The last tip which is number six works with every character except Wigfrid....I do not approve of this, Bugs are protein right!!! Well anyways a good way to get your health back is to go around and slap some butterflies because each one killed will give you butterfly wings or even a chance to get some butter but the butterfly wings will restore 8 health each. Which makes it a really good and fast way to get your health back. if your lucky you can score that butter and restore 40 health.
