Vampyr is a third person action adventure role playing game, developed by dontnod entertainment and published by focus home interactive. It was first released on 5th June for ps4, xbox one and Microsoft windows.

Vampyr takes place in 1918 London England. The player controls the protagonist John Reid who is a doctor by day and by night he has been cursed and turns into a vampire. Gameplay involves the player completing objectives to advance the chapter but can also make the game easier by using John’s knowledge as a doctor to subsequently gather information on innocent civilians by finding clues and building relationships with characters and then kill them in order to harvest blood John requires to stay alive. The player has the option to not kill anyone which will change the outcome of the ending of the game depending on the choices the player makes. The player can also upgrade john’s abilities by spending xp earned through playing the game.
