Along with what I mentioned in the video, another cheap tactic to use is lower tier ships with a high level health boosting fleet commander to soften a fleet up a bit. But using that tactic will mean you will want to pick a side in the fight and stick to it for maximum damage before the throwaway fleet is destroyed.

Next is maximizing your farming by having more than just reserve ships ready. Having a spare fleet is handy if you are flying manually, but that can't beat running a good auto fleet along with them. I would recommend a mix of Aericoes and Valrayvns for the obvious reason that the spawned ships will tank a bit, the only thing you need to do is head into the fight to switch them into aggressive mode then leave them be to handle your fight.

Finally is timing. Not everything needs to be perfect and how I play is by racking up repair time then playing again later, typically after a few hours. It gets the job done and I never miss new tech if I really want it, and there are easy ways out there to maximize how quickly you farm anything in the game. I'll leave it to the other content creators to cover that though as most of them do a great job of it.
