Note: These are my inital impressions of the premium career for Saltzpyre, Warrior Priest. My opinions are subject to change based on the following but not limited to: playing the career more on Legend or above, balance changes that can buff or nerf the career, and playing the career on other modes beside Campaign mode. If there is anything I get wrong, then feel free to correct me. Same thing applies when there is something I should clarify on.

On December 9th 2021. the Warrior Priest DLC was revealed and came out on that same exact day. Unfortunately, it was delayed to January 2022 for the PlayStation 4 version seemingly for unforeseen circumstances. The DLC is separated into 2 parts. One of the part has the DLC career itself, Warrior Priest and the other has the cosmetics(Weapon Illusions, Skins, and Hats) exclusively for Warrior Priest and his weapons.
The Warrior Priest DLC is priced at 3.99 USD while the Cosmetic upgrade pack for the Warrior Priest is priced at 8.99 USD.

For the career itself, it suffers a major drawback similar to Grail Knight and Slayer. That is he cant carry a ranged weapon. To make matters worse, he cannot use any of the other weapons Saltz have(Flail, Axe, Falchion, Rapier, and Great Longsword). Warrior Priest can only use a unique set of weapons he haves. Those weapons are the Skull Splitting Hammer, Reckoner Great Hammer, and the Hammer and Blessed Tome. While using those weapons can look interesting in gameplay, Saltz not being able to use his other weapons as Warrior Priest can be a bit nerve racking.

On the bright side, Warrior Priest can be useful in certain situations. When the whole team is surrounded by enemies, he can use Righteous Fury to maintain the crowd more. Righteous Fury is a unique mechanic where basically the meter gradually fills based on the amount of kills Warrior Priest gets. Once the meter gets full, then he can get some buffs depending on how the player set up his talents. Including some talents that can help the team.

Overall, I think Warrior Priest is a pretty good career to play as. Another different support like class to play as besides the ones that already exist(like Unchained, Ironbreaker, and Foot Knight). Warrior Priest kinda feels like a clone of Grail Knight except Warrior Priest is not the best damage dealer toward monsters.

I could've used the previous DLC careers more if I had more red dust. To this day, red dust is still the rarest crafting material to find. Also, I do plan on covering the last Campaign mission in the Drachenfel chapter very soon on Cataclysm. I was not able to get it done earlier because of real life obstacles getting in my way. Maybe I will record more of the campaign missions on Cataclysm. Specifically the ones I never recorded on that difficulty mode(like Into the Nest, Screaming Bell, and some others).
