Made this song to inspire those who are on their grind. It has a mix of Hip Hop and Alt Rock elements which take from 21 Pilots Jon Bellion and John Mayer. There is a little guitar solo at the end too! A few lyrics stick out:
"Everybody talking like their Kobe, I don't wanna hear it y'all don't even know me. I was given the seed, revvin' the engine so I can whack all the weeds, and thorns chokin me. Everybody back up so my soul can breathe."
I wrote these lyrics a few weeks before Kobe died, so these lyrics meant so much more to me after his passing. Kobe was a savant, a master of his craft, and when he talked about something or gave advice you listened. Unfortunately most people think they are Kobe level experts when criticizing ideas, dreams, or goals. It's of course important to be even-tempered, but if you got the seed you gotta whack out the weeds. Not every voice is a productive voice to listen to. Just my two cents lol I'm just a random guy on your feed ;)
