15Video Diary August 2022 Inflation and Interest Rates - I'm a bit fed up with the economics talk in the news and on the radio - and indeed from politicians. It just doesn't seem to be consistent with the economy facts as they stand. I argue that the current inflation is not caused by ordinary people having too much money (which raising interest rates seeks to tackle), but by external shocks like supply-chain problems, Brexit in the UK, and so on. Maybe they are trying to stoke some civil unrest so that steps towards a Universal Basic Income can be introduced as a 'solution' to the issues?

POSTING SCHEDULE
This depends in part on whether I have had time to record videos in between going to work and living the rest of my life! Usually it runs like this:
- Sat or Sun: a vlog or sightseeing video around 5 PM (UK time), sometimes.
- Gameplay videos: only rarely these days.
- If I have something extra to post it usually appears at some random time :) I may livestream rarely too.
