Henshin-A-Go-Go, Baby! Using the Dolphin Emulator. To avoid being accused of using save states, I figured it's probably better to upload the way I have them instead of editing together. I basically recorded the first half of a stage up until the savepoint, then recorded second half from that savepoint all the way until the end so I will be uploading each stage in two parts (except for stage 6, which is just one part).

A lot of the strats I used are mostly from other people's playthroughs (mainly bullseye strider, tminator64, Gen2000, & Matthewmatosis) so you won't be seeing anything new here. However, instead doing dumb food descriptions like I did with the Bayo and W101 playthroughs, I should try to breakdown and explain what I'm doing for each fight so you can get a better idea on how ranking in Viewtiful Joe works. A lot of the tricks for building up V-points will start to get pretty samey throughout the playthrough so I'll try my best not to repeat myself

{1st ranked fight} - First things first, break the box to grab the coin. The big coins are 100 points and they do count towards your rank so grab them asap. Next, dodge and dizzy enemies, then start hitting them for points. If you have a hard time reading their cues, Biankies whirl their arms when they attack up, shuffle their legs when they attack down. There's even a noticeable sound effect for each attack too.

{2nd ranked fight} - Bianky-Boxer and Bianky-Prima are introduced here. Bianky-Boxers aren't much different from regular ones, other than they hit harder and take more hits. Bianky-Primas do spin attacks whenever you're close to them. You pretty much have to bait them into attacking in a direction. For example, I ducked down next to them and baited them into attacking down. If you're unsure in which direction he will attack, just back off until he finished attacking and start baiting again.

{Captain Blue 1} - He has 5 different attacks. An up attack, a down attack, a charge, a divekick, and an AOE. Other than that, just hit him until he's dead. If you pace your punches, you should be able to keep him from doing too many attacks.

{Non-ranked fights} - Any fights that aren't ranked is for the purpose of getting more points to buy moves and techniques from the shop. The main strategy for getting points is to hit dizzy enemies for V-points, then going into SLOW and hit rock-on enemies to build your multiplier. Your combo will end once you exit SLOW and it will total your points and multiplier together.

Cromarties are also introduced when you jump up to the platform. They always do a 4-hit combo. Their first hit has the same cue as biankies. However, their second hit is random so be sure to slow down time for that part. Their 3rd and 4th hit is pretty much the opposite direction the second hit was. For example, if the second hit was down, then 3rd and 4th hit will be up, down. If second hit was up, then down, up.

{4th ranked fight} - Jokers can be very annoying. However, this fight can be very easy if you know what you're doing. Be sure to hold SLOW button before the cutscene so you can start hitting him before he lands. Jokers tend read your inputs so it's best to slow down time and attack them in the middle of their jumping or attacking animations. For the slot machines, always coins first, and keys second.

{Non-ranked fight} - Hitting enemies off of walls is a good way to build the multiplier. Also, hitting enemies into each other is a good way to get more points. Whenever there's a wall near by, I always try line up the enemies where I can hit them into each other and toward the wall so I can both build my points and multiplier at the same time. This is my go-to strat whenever there's a wall or I'm in enclosed spaces.

{5th ranked fight} - Bianco Billies are introduced. Enemies' projectiles in this game are hitscan so use SLOW to hit bullets back to dizzy them. Then use the wall strat for the biankies.

{6th ranked fight} - Verdy-Choppers are introduced. Slow down time will often bring them down to the ground. If not, then just use SLOW and hit them out of the air. They will start doing their more annoying attacks if you leave them in the air so it's best to down down. Then use the wall strat on the Cromarties and continue on. You can fight the extra Cromarties for more points if you want.

{7th ranked fight} - Since there aren't any walls, dizzy the bianky-prima first, then the cromarty, build up points from hitting them. Once you enter in SLOW, avoid hitting them into each other as it can knock them away from you, making it hard to build your multiplier. Using your uppercut punch is usually the best way to do that. Since SLOW also slow you down, your only means to move quicker to alternate between punches and kicks. Punch will cancel kicks and vice versa, and it will help nudge you closer.

{Mini-boss} - Run all the way to the end without stopping. Then dizzy an enemy and start hitting rock-on enemies toward the Helicopter
