During and after a Christmas party at Macrobiology Industries Limited horrible thing happens in the laboratory's containment fridge as large quantities of swine-flu vaccine gets mixed with cucumber sandwiches and the boss' viagra supply. At the year's first day of work the company's security guard enters the site, finds the containment fridge smashed and realises that things aren't quite right. As the building now is full of virus spores, the security guards grabs his gun and gets ready for some shooting.

Virus is an action game where the player controls his character from a top down perspective. It is inspired by Into The Eagles Nest. The player can move in all four directions and use his gun to kill the viruses that he comes across. To progress he has to pick up keys that are needed to open some doors while other doors can be shot open. Other collectibles that will be needed are ammo and health packs. The objective of each of the eight levels is to kill all the viruses and get to the exit. Health is decreasing continuously with time so if all health packs have been collected it's necessary to hurry to the exit or the player will die. In case the player runs out of ammo it's possible to restart a level but that leads to the score being reduced.
