This can be done if you mess up the player's name with Cheat Engine.
Yes, this syncs to the host and anyone in the current session you join and even with the same speed as it is shown in this video.
The host may be unable to use the "kickban" command since he can not see the entire name because the rest is glitched.

To my knowledge, this glitched name should be harmless since i played a lot with it, saved and finished maps while having it active and even joined random people without problems.

This glitch/hack looks unique.
