Extract the Zip/Rar file.

Rightclick and edit the "OpenDoomVR.bat" Replace its text with the following:

gzdoom.exe -file WeaponsForVR.pk3 -file zdoom-dhtp-20180514.pk3 -file BR_VR_b1.zip -file hellonearthstarterpack.wad -file BD21RC7.pk3

You will be launching the game from this file "OpenDoomVR.bat".

Start SteamVR

Ingame go into VR options and alter the "gun angle" to i think mine is around 47 i believe. Make it match up to trigger if its not. You can also edit bindings, I found kick to be working interestingly, bind reload to the pause key (X) on left controller since you can pause from right controller anyway.


If you are on oculus you can use opencomposite if you like. Removes the need for steamVR and runs natively for better performance overhead working with most games, customisable to use steam or oculus based on what you choose in its settings.
