2022 Elective Maths Wassce Questions And Answers Tips - [Ghana News Today]
I always tell my wassce candidate's that #Elective maths paper is one of the easiest paper to pass during WASSCE.
There are some subjects that are grouped into sections and these sections appear in the #WASSCE. Example of such subjects are physics, Elective maths, Biology.
We will discuss Electivemaths for now. This post will be eye opener to all those who think Elective maths is difficult to pass in WASSCE.
The Elective maths paper is divided into three main sections.
So number;
1. PURE MATHS
The pure maths section is made up of various topics including polynomials, Circles, coordinate geometry, series and sequence, binomials, calculus, functions, indices, Trigonometry, linear programming, logarithm, surds, and the others apart from the those in the subsequent sections.
2. STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
this section involves all topics in the statistics and probability. This section is basically made up of two major topics.
3. VECTORS AND MECHANICS
This section also involves all the areas of vectors and mechanics. This is also a two topic section.
And This Are HOW THE Elective Maths Questions QUESTIONS ARE SET.
The WASSCE Elective maths paper has 8 compulsory questions in section A of the essay paper. Four of the questions are from the pure maths section, two are from the statistics and probability section and two are from vectors and mechanics.
The section B of the essay paper has all the three sections from which students are to answer 4 questions, answering at least one from each section.
Target these topics.

When these subjects are mustered, the student will be able to solve 7 out of 12 questions. The remaining five will come from the pure maths section.
It is difficult to predict what topics will come in the pure #maths section but the four topics above is always constant in #WASSCE.
