Long story short:
Wanted: Dead begins with Hannah Stone being released from prison. Hannah, a former elite soldier, was imprisoned for crimes committed during her service. She is released under the orders of Captain Arnold Simmons, who wants to leverage her unique skills to combat the rising crime in Hong Kong.
Hannah becomes the leader of a special police unit known as the "Zombie Squad," which includes a diverse group of specialists: Doc, a skilled medic and tech expert; Cortez, a heavy weapons specialist; and Herzog, a combat specialist and close-quarters combat expert. Together, they begin investigating an incident at Dauer Synthetics, where strange and suspicious circumstances have been uncovered.
As they investigate, they encounter powerful criminal elements connected to the large corporation. The Zombie Squad discovers that Dauer Synthetics is not just producing androids but is using them to create an army of high-tech soldiers capable of subjugating and controlling the population.
The investigation takes the team on numerous dangerous missions across the city, including fights with mercenaries, combat androids, and various gangs. Hannah and her team uncover that the conspiracy runs deep within the government structures, with some high-ranking officials involved in this criminal activity.
