Warcraft III is a RTS by Blizzard Entertainment, released in 2002. It is notable for having 4 playable races, which is an incredible feat by virtue of the amount of playtesting, balancing, lore writing, and artwork that must be made. The game stands the test of time, and is an absolutely incredible experience to play, both then and now. The combat features typical RTS elements, as well as a robust and complex hero system surrounded special units with unique skills and personal inventories.
