Now, what makes him great is the face that he can also crit off his ultimate ability like Gyre, but his is permanent instead of just for a duration. He would be one of the best when it comes to critical chance as his passive makes it add up for the duration of the mission. So, this means the longer the mission, the stronger his crit chance will be. He also can provide support for his allies by adding elemental ammunition. All in all, he is great when it comes to supporting his allies or himself.
Passive: Practiced Aim
Because of his Spec-Op build, he gets 1% bonus Crit Chance when hitting the weak points on enemies up to 300% for the rest of the mission. This can be stacked with mods that give crit chance as well.
Abilities:
Seek: His first ability. He slams down an antenna that will mark enemies and reveal their weak points, even through walls. Weapons gain punch-through.
Resupply: His second ability. Tapping the ability will deploy elemental ammo packs, giving you and your allies elemental damage to your ranged weapons. Holding the ability button will bring up a wheel that you can manually select which element you want to deploy.
Evade: His third ability. He dodges back a turns invisible. Killing enemies by weak point damage will extend the duration and heal him.
Neutralize: His ultimate ability. He equips his Sniper Rifle Exalted weapon in place of his primary weapon. Weak point hits cause the Neutralizer's bullets to ricochet off of enemies. You can Alt fire to lob a Cold grenade that creates a zone that damages enemies within.
Overall:
Cyte-09 is can literally be the one frame that looks like it's complicated but is easy to use. One thing to keep in mind is his abilities work best when you have mods that deal damage to weak points. Weak points are literally hits like head shots or shots to vulnerable areas.
Seek should always be first as you deal more damage to enemy weak points and highlight them through the map. Think of this as a textbook wall hack ability and you got the picture. Don't forget your allies still benefit from this as well, not just you.
Any ability after Seek can be used, so there is no trick to it. Evade is your panic ability as it would stop enemies from attacking you and keep you safe, just remember that you heal from enemies you kill in this state and extend your time.
Resupply will help you as you can select any element on the wheel. One thing to note is you can only have 6 ammo packs on the map at a time, so if you use this ability with 6 already out, the earliest one disappears. Pick the elements best for the mission and you'll be fine. Another thing is reloading the weapon will clear any remaining elemental ammo in the clip, so try not to do so unless you want to refresh your ammo. Also, picking up a ammo pack is a great way to bypass reloading the weapon.
Neutralizer functions like all the other Exalted weapons in that it cost energy to use and reload. You can also use Resupply to give it an element or bypass reloading.🥃
