Warriors orochi 1 [Shu] 1# (Story mode)
3In warriors orochi 1 story our main protagonist is Zhao Yun and his main goal is saving his lord and gathering as many officers who are wiling to help.
Our first three playable character's are:
Zhao Yun - Long range technique character who is good at crowd control and defensive play. Since we are starting with such a low level and low tier weapons he is not able to shine as other two character's. No fire damage is something that can hurt a lot early game characte's. I'l see how he will perform later.
Yoshihiro Shimazu - Strong but tanky character that can pack series damage with his musou attacks. One of the best true musou in this game considuring how fire damage works in this game. Let's not forget all the buffs this beast can have with thorn and super hyper armor after a high damage light musou charge. Only downside is that he is really slow, not allowing for combo mix ups with other character's. But again what am i expecting from a old man with a two handed hammer. Great for tight situations and crowd control.
Xing Cai - Funny thing both Shimazu and her only have thorn buff when they do charge attack and they are the first two characters to be playable when starting shu story.
She is great, does't have high damage but is really good against officer's.
Her guard break on a light musou is great for puting enemy in a semi unconcius state making me deal more damage the next hit and her true musou is preatty good, following the end with a fire explosion that allowes for some interesting combo mix ups after. Great character, with good combo and mix up potencial, works good as a solo damage dealer also.
Stage: This one is really cool, having two options on how to beat the stage. Going gun's blazing and attacking Cao Ren or escaping throw other path reaviled on the map. Zuo Ci is with us the first few minutes of the stage and then sudenly dissapearing when we exit the Sanada house. Yeas, that crapy underground building is the sanada house from what i remmember in samurai warriors 2. Funny if you ask me. Later we meet with Tachibana who we will unlock at the end of the stage, let us not forget Zhang Bao who is locked up in a seperate place. We can rescue him and he will then block the enemies who will later try to chase us, if you return to him and beat the officers while being with Zhang Bao, he will join us and will follow us no mater what. Later on Zuo Ci appears and tries to buy us some time for us to escape. I tried to help him but was unable since he shortly died few seconds after i left him. I was too slow i admit since Zhang Bao was left on probably 15% of his health. Overall interesting and fun stage. I really enjoyed it and like how we have two possible win conditions.
But there was always one thing that was bothering me, Who sent Shimazu? He does not want to say who sent him but only possible three options for who sent him are Nobunaga, Zhuge Liang and Cao Cao. Considuring he is a samurai character there is no sense Zhuge Liang for knowing about him and Nobunaga not sharing his identity is not something to add up since Nobunaga is openly in Coalation army as a leader. Only candidate that is left is Cao Cao but this one thing is going to be a video for itself. "Who sent Shimazu" Question of the sentury. If noone can answer me this i will find the answer myself!
