Team Godlike's performance in BMPS 2024 has been stunning so far. During a recent livestream, Neyoo discussed Jonathan Gaming's phase with TSM Entity. That same TSM Entity phase when Jonathan was hailed as the GOAT of BGMI.
There have been several changes in Godlike, including player shuffles and attempts to build a top-notch roster. Inspite of these efforts, their performance could have still improved. As of now, Neyoo and many others believe that this new team, formed during BGMS S3, has the potential to bring back the former glory of TSM Entity.
All Godlike fans are eagerly waiting for this revival. Neyoo mentioned that he met with Zgod and discussed the team's performance, where both agreed upon the fact that Jonathan's previously perceived confidence and aggression are making a comeback after quite some time.
In other news, BMPS Round 2 matches have concluded, and out of the 64 teams, the bottom 16 have been eliminated. You can view the overall standings on your screen. Godlike Esports delivered a highly aggressive performance and emerged as the table toppers of Round 2. Orangutan Esports secured the second position, followed by Team Carnival in third place, and then Team Xspark.
It’s worth noting that several Tier 1 teams have qualified for Round 3.
Angry Swan got disqualified in the 64th position. Regarding this, Krafton shared a post on Instagram explaining that Team Angry Swan violated rules 4.3 and 4.4 of the rulebook. These rules specify how POV submission should be handled and the team failed to comply that. The complete details of the situation are known only to Krafton and the players.
In BGMS Season 3, we saw that Jelly was not leading Godlike as IGL; it was mutually decided that Punk would take over as the new IGL. At that time, Fyxs, a BGMI caster, tweeted that Jelly was not actually the problem.
But, just yesterday, another BGMI caster known for his predictions, tweeted that after observing Godlike's stellar performance in BMPS 2024, it seems the problem might have been Jelly's playstyle. Team Godlike now appears to be performing much better, showing increased confidence. But still the question lingers-- was there actually any problem or negligence in Jelly's performance.
