It was a selling point back in the early 1990s, and a way to remind customers that we were a world away from the Great Games Crash of 1983. But was the Sega Genesis seal of quality actually bad luck? No, probably not, but a lot of the companies featured in this advertisement went out of business within a year or two of it running in magazines.
