Wasteland 3 Review: A Monumental Achievement for the RPG Genre
24Wasteland 3 is one of the best RPG released in recent memory. Over the course of this review, let me explain why.
A few things to note during the review that I didn't get chance to mention or cut-out when finalising the video:
1. The performance section was correct for the time of writing (a couple of weeks after release) - InXile released a patch recently to address stability and the crashes.
2. I didn't feel like the crashes ruined the experience as I set auto-save to 5 minutes. I lost 30 minutes of progress on two occasions during combat, but that was it.
3. I played solo, although co-op was pretty broken on launch with constant disconnects on all platforms.
4.Some of the visual comments are for the original Xbox One, which is pretty outdated - I did check the visuals on PC, which were better, but still not great. I still stand by the low texture comment for the Ranger HQ.
5. Major Tomcat is the best video game companion ever put to code. RIP little man.
