Water Temple | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time [Part 12]
2On this episode of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" we do conquer the Mini-Dungeon the Ice Caverns and the Water Temple!
The Ice Caverns is the first of three Mini-Dungeons in the game, and honestly, I really love it! Super straight forward, a few heart pieces and gold skulltulas for your trouble, and then the Iron Boots and Zora Tunic!
It really sets the stage for the Water Temple by having you revisit Zora's Domain and acquiring items to get yourself ready for the insane Temple ahead!
The Water Temple...get your boots, Hookshot, and Ocarina ready!
The Water Temple can be really intimidating and confusing on your first, or even third playthrough as you are constantly having to switch your boots so you either float or sink and are constantly changing the water levels.
I really enjoy the water level personally, but I can see how it gets super irritating. Best piece of advice, remember you need to return to the Princess Ruto room a lot, and three rooms you can't enter without the longshot (one includes the boss door)
Also Dark Link is very weak to the broken Giant's Knife for some reason! I think it's because you can swing it very fast!!!

We acquire: Two Heart Pieces, Golden Skulltulas, Blue Fire, Iron Boots, Zora's Tunic, Longshot
Next episode we will probably do some Adult Link mini-games or upgrades like upgrading arrow capacity or buying more magic beans!
