What makes it weird?
First of all, when they started to develop the game, they were developing original Mortal Kombat 3 and the game is actually based on Windows version of the game. During the development, they changed the game from regular Mortal Kombat 3 to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
Because of that, the game is like a bizarre mix of regular MK3 (menus) and Ultimate MK3 (roster).
In addition, the game is very fast at times (rapid high punches) and it features the most horrifying Motaro of all time!
