"Welcome to the Gulch" - a Red vs Blue Parody
54I'VE BEEN SITTING ON THESE LYRICS FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS AND FINALLY GOT TO SEE THIS PROJECT COME TO FRUITION.
During my junior year of college, I got introduced to a musical called 'Come From Away', which at the time my group and I was using it for a class project. It's an amazing musical and I highly recommend you give it a listen. Over spring break that year, I had an insane urge to take the opening number "Welcome to the Rock" and transform it into a RvB parody called "Welcome to the Gulch". So here we are.
It took me so long to finally make this come to light. I had to arrange the underscore for the vocals and record ALL the vocal lines and buy color coordinated shirts for each member of the team (don't worry, I'll be slowly putting SAI letters on them so they're not entirely worthless)! I had a lot of fun mixing the vocals and getting to 'play' each character during the actual video. I hope you enjoy this cool endeavor and there's definitely more parody videos coming in the future!
