10Welcome to the N.H.K showcases the life of a 22 year old shut-in named Tatsuhiro Sato, who in addition to not only being a shut in, he is also a N.E.E.T or Not in Education, Employment, or Training. He is also a Hikikomori, someone who avoids any social contact. And the icing on the cake? He's also a conspiracy theorist. A man of many hats, none of which are very good. Sato spends most of his days cooped up in his apartment, where he sleeps for hours on end, smokes like a chimney and survives off of instant noodles almost entirely. One day by chance he meets a pretty, young, women named Misaki Nakahara, who claims that if he agrees to sign a contract she will cure him of his Hikikmori condition.
