A not-so-young Link wakes up one day, and decides to catch up on all the work he missed 7 years ago...

I've spent over TWO WEEKS working on this zelda animation! Longest I've worked on a video, and longest animation yet. Hopefully It was worth the wait! I made it to celebrate the 5 years since the upload of the original "If Adult Link Did Young Link Dungeons" Ocarina of Time video. I doubt that this will get anywhere near that video's amount of views, but I really enjoyed working on this that I don't even mind. Yeah ok, maybe I care a LITTLE bit.

I was originally considering doing an animation that looked like in game graphics, probably in sfm. However, this didn't pan out both due to source filmmaker being totally unknown to me and I did my Mario animation and realised how good the clay aesthetic is.

Explanation:

We open in Link's house, before his bed springs up, initialising his quest. He approaches the Great Deku Tree, and is swiftly inhaled inside. Once inside the Great Deku Tree, Link falls through a web into water. He jumps onto a nearby surface before jumping into the next area where he picks up a torch and burns a web. He falls again, leading to his confrontation with Parasitic Armored Arachnid - Queen Gohma, whom he catches in a cup, to be freed outside. The next stop on his journey takes him to Kakariko Village, where he easily slips past a guard, who falls in defeat. Once past the guard, Link climbs the treacherous Death Mountain to enter the Dodongo's Cavern. Within the Dodongo's Cavern, Link encounters a beamos, before climbing into the lair of Infernal Dinosaur - King Dodongo! Utilising a lucky bomb, Link manages to defeat King Dodongo, and is freed from the volcano to meet with Darunia, who gives Link the red Spiritual Stone. Link exits through Kakariko, the guard still defeated hopes that he will be needed to open the gate, only to see Link pass through easily once again. Zora's Domain is the next location, where Link meets the imposing King Zora. Link takes the King to the next area - Zora's Fountain, also known as Lord Jabu Jabu's pond. Link presents a fish for Lord Jabu Jabu to consume, only to end up eaten himself! Fortunately, Link is equipped to aid Lord Jabu Jabu with his heart problems, allowing him to receive the final Spiritual Stone. Link walks through the garden leading to the great Temple of Time, placing the stones to remove the door. He takes the sword, and it seems for a moment that he should be sent forward in time - Link is already an adult, so he leaves. Exiting the temple, Link sees Ganondorf, seemingly caught off guard that Link was not held in stasis for 7 years, and is easily defeated by Link due to never having gathered any form of power. Link returns home, only to see Queen Ghoma hiding beneath his bed. After a brief moment, Link swiftly deals with the arachnid. Link then acknowledges the audience, and coyly adjusts his body language to reflect his feelings about all those people who kept making fun of NahManacles for taking so long to beat the parasite in the first place.
