It doesn't matter which 2022 Pokemon was better, Legends Arceus or Scarlet and Violet. It also doesn't matter if Scarlet and Violet were as bad as we thought. What really matters is that the open world is pretty bad, which begs the question: should Pokemon games be open world? And what Pokemon games could and should be?
