What Makes A Good Video Game Opening?
21First impressions are everything, they say!
Today we're gonna talk about what makes a good video game opening. We'll discuss examples of good ones, examples of bad ones, and even what I think are two perfect game openers based on the criteria I present. I hope you enjoy this exploration of the introductions to video games!
This video is the debut of my new talksprite! Or is it "rantsona?" IDK anymore; it's my YouTube audio-only PNG representation of me. I drew each aspect of it in Krita and then layered them over each other in my editing software, kdenlive. I hope you like it, and if you have any suggestions for it (expressions, hand gestures, shirts, etc.), be sure to let me know!
Additionally, I threw in some little animations in the transition cards! Those were also animated using Krita and keyframed using kdenlive. I think they add a bit more flavor and personality to the video, and I hope you think so too!
